Tash is endorsed as a Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA. This means that clients with a valid Mental Health Care Plan are eligible for a Medicare rebate of $137.05 per session (maximum of one claim per day).
Unfortunately, Mental Health Care Plans do not cover Autism assessments. If you are 25 years old or under, you are eligible for a Medicare rebate. See here for more info.
More information to be added soon. In the meantime, to find out what other assessmentplease contact Tam at admin@ttpsychservices.com
Phase One: Screening
- One 75-minute session to get an initial idea of what has led you to question whether you might have ADHD, and gather information that will help us work out whether it sounds like ADHD or something else.
- In this session, if it is identified that it doesn't sound like ADHD, we will work together to draft a brief, loose plan for you moving forward (whether that be with myself or another psychologist).
- Screening measures will be sent for you to complete before we meet.
Phase Two: Investigation
- Clinical Interview: A 100-minute session is scheduled for your clinical interview. You are welcome to bring a support person to this, and it is ideal to have an adult who knew you well when you were growing up.
- Psychometric measures will be completed in the interview, and if your adult-who-knew-you-well-when-you-were-growing-up can't make it to the assessment, then we will send them questionnaires via email.
Phase Three: Debrief
- Feedback session: A feedback session of 50 minutes
- A report detailing what we did in our assessment, your relevant background information, results/diagnoses if applicable, and brief, general recommendations.

Phase Two: Investigation
- Clinical Interview: A 100-minute session is scheduled for your clinical interview, at the end of which we will discuss whether further sessions are required for either a cognitive assessment or further information gathering.
- Psychometric measures will be emailed to you for yourself and another adult who knows you well to complete (e.g., partner, parent, sibling, close friend) If you're unsure, ask me or Tam.
Phase Two point Five (optional): Cognitive Assessment
- Depending on a few factors, you may or may not need a cognitive assessment as part of your autism assessment.
- If it seems like this is required in your case and you don't live near one of my office locations, I will do my best to help you find someone to complete this part of the assessment at a location near you.
Phase Three: Debrief
- Feedback session: A feedback session of either 50 minutes, 75 minutes, or 100 minutes is scheduled, depending on what your needs are around receiving your diagnosis, if applicable.
- A report detailing what we did in our assessment, your relevant background information, results/diagnoses if applicable, and brief, general recommendations.
- If it seems like you may be eligible to apply for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), we can talk through the next steps.
