Clinical Psychologist; Neuroinclusion Specialist

Originally from Naarm Melbourne and now living and working  on Dja Dja Wurrung country, I am a proudly Neurodivergent psychologist specialising in working with fellow Neurodivergent and Queer individuals.

My genuinely curious and unprejudiced nature helps create the safe and supportive space I hold for my clients to start opening up about the more challenging parts of their lives.

I am dedicated to assisting my clients in achieving their goals; whether that is related to self-esteem, staying out of custody, or improving interactions with people of different neurotypes.

With years of experience in the field, plus ten years of clinical training and many more years of lived experience as a Queer woman and adult-identified Autistic ADHDer, I offer evidence-informed and trauma-informed care that respects neurodiversity and gender identity, while bringing my authentically human Self to the party.

I work from a person-centred approach, primarily focusing on fitting the therapeutic experience to each individual. I typically use an IFS approach with elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and some neuroaffirming Dialectical Behaviour Therpay (DBT) skills to help get through the moments of dysregulation.

I also incorporate elements from other therapeutic modalities to provide a comprehensive and tailored approach to mental health and personal growth.

As a staunch advocate for access and inclusion in all spaces, and believing that it starts with solid mental health support, I do my best to help remove barriers related to cost, location, and other societal factors. If you face difficulties accessing mental health care, please let our team know. We are here to help.

Some of Tash's favourite areas to help clients with

  • Exploring their identity, particularly those who have recently discovered they are part of the Neurodivergent or LGBTQIAP+ communities.

  • Assessing and recommending adjustments for their occupation (whether that be in the workplace, classroom, on stage, or research lab). I conduct thorough assessments to find out what its really like for you on a day-to-day basis, and how we can make it more accessible for you.
  • Very few barriers are genuinely too big to work out. I think that most things can be thought about differently and a solution can be found through strategy brainstorming and trials. When I am unable to find a neuroinclusive solution, I consult my colleagues in the Occupational Therapy field. We don't stop just because the first strategy didn't work - we continually assess as we go to make sure what we are doing is working, and that you can get the most our of your life. There's a lot more to talk about on this, and I'm updating a new page soon - so stay tuned!

  • Identifying and working through the issues that make up the foundation of their struggles with addiction or staying out of custody/the justice system.
