Stay Tuned, I (try to) update this page as I find things!
Sandhya Menon: Sandhya is a Victorian-based neurodiversity-affirming Educational and Development Psychologist, and the founder of Onwards and Upwards Psychology. Sandhya advocates for neurodiversity, especially in children. Using a strength-based perspective to inspire her work in the neurodiversity space, Sandhya creates safe and supportive spaces for neurodivergent children. The resources available on the Onwards and Upwards Psychology website are extremely helpful, and easy to access. You will see the Onwards and Upwards Psychology logo on several of the resources listed on my website, in my office spaces, and pretty much everywhere I go, because: nesting.
Chloé Hayden: Chloe is an Autistic ADHDer who is also an award winning motivational speaker, actor (Quinni in Heartbreak High!!!!!), performer, author, influencer, content creator and disability rights activist and advocate—one of my favourite people in the universe and someone whose existence (and book) has quite literally changed my life.
Em Rusciano: Em is a comedian, singer, radio presenter, and mum! Speaking freely and unapologetically about her own neurodivergence in her online presence, Em is a trail blazer by advocating for the acceptance of ADHDers. Watch Em be an absolute inspiration and boss when she addressed the National Press Club in 2022, telling her story of being a late diagnosed ADHDer.
Hannah Gadsby: Have you seen Douglas on Netflix?? You NEED to. Hannah is an Autistic ADHDer who is also Queer! She is a comedian who advocates for acceptance and understanding. If you want to feel seen, validated, and meet some of the other people in your Neurotribe, The descriptions of Hannah's experience as she in her comedy shows hits home and is validating and relatable in all the best ways that we all need.
Josh Thomas: Josh is another ADHDer comedian and the creator of the shows Please Like Me and Everything's Gonna Be Okay. I saw Josh live in Naarm back in the day before I ever knew I was Autistic or even had ADHD. It was the best and he signed my poster, which I lost and it breaks my heart.

The Brain Forest is an awesome picture book written by Sandhya Menon from Onwards and Upwards Psychology - it explains how all of our brains are different, like the different types of trees in a forest. Using easy-to-access language and awesome illustrations by Kushla Ross, this book is fantastic for understanding the Neurodiverse world we live in. Perfect for people of all ages (and can be a great starting point for those who are finding it hard to accept neurodiversity affirmation and acceptance).
